WORDSMITH

Though I've found a passion for design, I feel just as enthusiastic about wordsmithing my way to inspiring others. Since I began teaching in 2004, I've found myself continually writing exercises, lessons, and tutorials for classroom use, many of which you can check out on the Valencia Web Studio. I've also equally enjoyed contibuting and managing the blog for Valencia's graphics program. I've co-authored an article, "The Truth About What the Industry Expects from Graduates", with fellow professor, Kristy Pennino. The article will be published nationally in the Create Magazine's January 2007 issue. I've even got my own spot on the web where I often write random thoughts, which reminds me how blessed I am. Something tells me there'll be a lot more writing to follow in the years to come.
